UW Physics Museum Tour – March 9th, 11:00 AM

Dear Community,

We wanted to let you know of an amazing opportunity for you and your children! One of the parents in our school, Maxim Vavilov, who is a Russian-speaking physicist at the UW Wisconsin, Madison, has offered to take us on a tour of the UW Physics Museum on Sunday, March 9th at 11:00 AM!

The physics museum is located on the University of Wisconsin – Madison campus in Chamberlin Hall, at 1150 University Avenue. The best parking location is lot 20, at 1390 University Avenue, which is free on Sundays.

Below is a brief description of the visit from Maxim.

If you are planning on coming, please send an email to Inna Reinfeldt so we can let Maxim know how many people to expect. We will gather inside the main entrance before beginning the tour.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you!

Women’s Day Celebration

8-мартаWe would like to invite you all to our annual Women’s Day Celebration on March 8th, from 3:45 PM until 6:00 PM at the following address:

West Madison Senior Center
602 Sawyer Terrace, Madison, WI

As per our tradition, everyone is invited and encouraged to participate in the concert program!  That means that, if you or any of your family members or friends would like to partake with any kind of performance suitable for that type of event, please do so!  You could sing (microphones will be available), dance, perform a skit, show gymnastics tricks (that do not require a lot of room 🙂 ), play a musical instrument (piano will be available), or recite a poem, you name it!

If you or your close ones plan on performing in the event, please register at the following address: as soon as you can!  To register, please list the names of the participants, their age (for children), type, and length of the performance!

There is no need to register if you are only coming to watch the show!  It is a free admission event, but please everyone bring an appetizer or a treat to share!

We also encourage all children to participate in our Art Display, which we will have set up for the event!  Please have your children bring along any of their favorite drawings, paintings, or other craft works to show off!  All the works should indicate the artist’s name and age.  All participants will be receiving prizes.  🙂

Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you might have using the above address.

We can not wait to see all the wonderful artists in our community!
