Thank you to all who attended our March 8th Celebration this past Sunday! We are grateful for all children and adults who performed!! You were amazing!
Special appreciation to Victor Agapov for donating the flowers presented to all the ladies and to Lonya Nenashev for his audio wizardry! And, of course, we couldn’t have done it without all the helpers who decorated, set up the room, and helped clean up afterwards!
We’ll see you soon!
We would like to invite you all to our annual Women’s Day Celebration on Sunday, March 8th, at 3:00 PM at the following address:
West Madison Senior Center
602 Sawyer Terrace, Madison, WI
As per our tradition, everyone is invited and encouraged to participate in the concert program! That means that, if you or any of your family members or friends would like to partake with any kind of performance suitable for that type of event, please do so! You could sing (microphones will be available), dance, perform a skit, show gymnastics tricks (that do not require a lot of room 🙂 ), play a musical instrument (piano will be available), or recite a poem, you name it!
If you or your close ones plan on performing in the event, please register at the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you can! To register, please list the names of the participants, their age (for children), type, and length of the performance!
There is no need to register if you are only coming to watch the show! It is a free admission event, but please everyone bring a treat for a tea party!
Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you might have using the above address.
We can not wait to see all the wonderful performers in our community!
The Madison Russian School has partnered with Square1Art for an exciting fundraising activity! Help show off your children’s talents (or your own!) by putting their work on Square1Art’s creative, custom products! In order to participate, please contact Ayza Churins (email@example.com) or Inna Reinfeldt (firstname.lastname@example.org). They will then provide you with the necessary materials (special paper for the artwork) and the order forms. They will also collect these items from you when you’re ready so that the order can be placed with Square1Art. (*Note: the materials have arrived! Please contact Inna Reinfeldt no later than Friday, February 6th to arrange to pick up the drawing materials and order forms.)
There is a large selection of items to chose from, all of which will make great memories for your families!
We ask that anyone interested please let us know in the next 7-10 days. We are trying to ensure that we can place our order in plenty of time before Easter so that everyone has the option of using the items as gifts for friends and family if they’d like to.
Thanks to the thoughtful family of one of our students, we have a video from our New Year’s Celebration to share with you all! We thank them for their time and effort in showing some of the highlights from that day!
Thank you for attending our New Year’s Celebration on Saturday! We had a great
turnout and lots of fun performing for you all! Hopefully, you all enjoyed the children’s efforts and everything else that the event had to offer!
The children all performed wonderfully! We’re very proud of them!
A special thanks to the MRS staff for all their hard work preparing the event and to all the volunteers who helped set up beforehand and cleanup afterwards. And, of course, we were so happy that Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden stopped by to visit!
MRS would also like to recognize and thank the many sponsors who supported the event!
We’ll see you all again soon, for our March 8th concert!
