We would like to invite you all to our annual Women’s Day Celebration on Sunday, March 6th, at 3:00PM at the following address:
Attic Angel Place – Community Room
8301 Old Sauk Rd, Middleton, WI 53562
As per our tradition, everyone is invited and encouraged to participate in the concert program! That means that, if you or any of your family members or friends would like to partake with any kind of performance suitable for this event, please do so! You could sing (microphones will be available), dance, perform a skit, show gymnastics tricks (that do not require a lot of room 🙂 ), play a musical instrument (piano will be available), or recite a poem… you name it!
If you or your close ones plan on performing in the event, please register at the following address: email@example.com March 2nd! To register, please list the names of the participants, their age (for children), type, and length of the performance!
There is no need to register if you are only coming to watch the show! It is a free admission event, but please, everyone, bring a treat for a tea party!
Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you might have using the above address.
We can not wait to see all the wonderful performers in our community on this special day!
The Madison Russian School is urgently searching for a new dance instructor to teach students ages 4-12 years old. Experience in dance, including Slavic folk dancing, and teaching dance to children is required. The language of instruction will preferably be Russian, but for the right candidate, we will accept English instruction as well.
While this is an immediate need, we will also accept applications for the Fall semester 2016-17 as well.
If you are interested, or you know someone who might be interested, please contact Inna Reinfeldt at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
Thanks to all the children who came to our open dance class and dance party this last weekend! We had a great time and hope you did, too! We’re looking forward to seeing you in our exciting dance classes! If you are interested, please contact us to let us know.
We’d like to share the performances our school’s choir, “Spring”, gave at the Overture Center on Saturday, January 9th, in partnership with the UW Russian Folk Orchestra for Madison’s International Festival. The choir is led by Anna Gubenkova and has now performed at this event two years in a row.
Many thanks to the UW Russian Folk Orchestra, led by Victor Gorodinsky, and their choir leader, Anna Gubenkova, for giving our children this opportunity!
We’re very proud of our childrens’ continued great performances at these public events!
Thank you for attending our New Year’s Celebration on Saturday! We had a great turnout and lots of fun performing for you all! Hopefully, you all enjoyed the children’s efforts and everything else that the event had to offer!
The children all performed wonderfully! We’re very proud of them! This year the children surprised us all with the creation of a claymation video for the celebration! It was really well done, and we will soon be posting it online for you all to watch! What a fun project for them!
We also want to thank the students of the art class for their art expo!
A special thanks to the MRS staff for all their hard work preparing the event and to all the volunteers who helped set up beforehand and cleanup afterwards. And, of course, we were so happy that Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden stopped by to visit!
MRS would also like to recognize and thank the many sponsors who supported the event!
We’ll see you all again soon, for our March 8th concert!
